I am delighted to announce the launch of my book on the Church Tokens struck by John Skidmore.

This is a subject that has always interested me and when I produced a regular catalogue some 25 years ago, I used to regularly feature a short article on an individual church and its history.

Fast forward to today and I have spent the last year or so making regular trips up to the City, photographing the churches or alternatively what has replaced them and adding some relevant information.

I hope this book stimulates interest in this most attractive series and also encourages people to explore the churches and the City of London.
